What does it mean to be a Fellow of the American Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists (D.A.C.O.)?

Chiropractic Orthopedists are Chiropractic Physicians who are licensed to practice clinical orthopedics in all 50 states, Canada and many other countries of the world. In order to achieve this title Dr. Hoehn had to complete a rigorous examination process after three additional years of schooling in order to prove his mastery in the field of orthopedics. The Chiropractic Orthopedist is often used by medical practitioners for referral consultation, by the legal profession and insurance industry for evaluation and treatment of patients, and the courts for giving expert testimony.

The Chiropractic Orthopedist has extensive, specialized training in examination and treatment procedures emphasizing primarily the neuromusculoskeletal structures of the body including the spine and the extremity joints as well as the related soft tissues. This involves conditions affecting bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, cartilage and related nerve structures.
